West Indies / Anguilla all-rounder Omari Banks stormed into the record books when he smashed a second century for Anguilla in their drawn Leeward Islands Cricket Association (LICA) three-day match against St. Kitts that wrapped up on Saturday.
According to the record books, Banks became the first player to compile consecutive centuries in the same match at St. Mary's Park and only the second Anguillian to accomplish the feat joining fellow Anguillians Alex Adams, who made 125 and 197 against Nevis in 1999.
Bank was a menace with both the bat and the ball. After scoring 125 runs in Anguilla's first innings, Banks took the ball and captured 9 Kittitian wickets for 90 runs. He then took the bat once again and smashed 115 runs in 170 minutes from 160 deliveries, with seven sixes and six fours.
Scores:
Anguilla - 349 and 226
St. Kitts - 262 and 97 for 3
