The 19th annual NBA Primary Schools football competition is fast approaching an exciting conclusion. The competition which opened on November 2nd has completed its semi-final stage with Stoney Ground Primary and Valley Primary slated to vie for the championship in both the boys and girls games. The finals are scheduled for the Coronation Park on Saturday December 1, at 3:00pm
The girls played their semifinals games on the 27th. In the first game, Stoney Ground Primary blanked Morris Vanterpool Primary , 13-0 to secure a place in the finals on Saturday. They will meet the girls from Road Primary who registered a 3-0 victory over Valley Primary on the same day.
The boys met two days later on the 29th. In the first game Road Primary scored a 5-1 win over Valley Primary while in the second game Stoney Ground Primary defeated Central Christian School 2-0.
The results mean that mean that Stoney Ground Primary and Road Primary girls will play for the championship, while Morris Vanterpool and Valley Primary will play for third and fourth place.
The championship boys fixture will also see Stoney Ground Primary take on Road Primary while Valley Primary and Central Christian will play for third and forth position.
