The Anguilla national foot ball team, bolstered by the addion of eligible UK-based players and led by UK-based coaches, took on a formidable force in CONCACAF action on Wednesday. Playing in San Salvador, the home team demolished Anguilla 12 - 0; effectively ending the island's chances of progressing to the next stage.
According to fifa.com, El Salvador's Rudi Coralles scored five goals to move to the top of the region's scoring charts while aging ace Ronald Cerritos grabbed a hat-trick.
Anguilla will meet El Salvador again in their second leg match at RFK stadium in Washington DC on March 26.

Posted by BR, 08 February, 2008 10:15:01Why in the world would Anguilla chose Washington D.C. as it's home match LOL? Do you guys know that besides NY and LA, DC is the area where most Salvadorians reside??? Oh well, It's not like yall coming back from 12-0 lol.
