Recent form shows why Smith may be a solid selection for CWC 2007.

Devon Smith's form in KFC Cup suggests Caribbean fans should expect much from the young Grenadian left hander in the upcoming Cricket World Cup, starting in the region on March, 5 (See schedule).  

In the recently completed series he posted three consecutive fifties to help the Windward Islands into the finals against Trinidad and Tobago.  He completed the series with an average of 86.00 from 258 runs, with his highest being 81 in the finals, where his team, the Windwards,  lost only by 5 runs.
