| A Youth Scholarship Endowment Fund established through UBS Financial Services has been setup by a visitor to Anguilla and a tennis enthusiast, Paul Lowerre. Mr Lowerre also happens to be a Vice President in UBS Financial Services and the initial contribution to the fund is US $30,000.00. The interest in this investment could fund three children in the After School Programme run by the Anguilla Tennis Academy (ATA). The ATA is now offering three scholarships to children ages 5-9 years, 10-13 years and 14-17 who are eager to learn tennis and who qualify by having a positive attitude, being a hard worker, an average student, in need of the scholarship and who show community involvement in some way. Applicants must write a one or two page letter explaining how he or she meets the criteria, they must live in Anguilla and include a recent report card. |
