The Police cricket club continued to enforce the cricketing laws as they imprisoned the CuisinArt cricket club in the cricketing jail at the Webster Park. Batting first the lawmen made a formidable total of 208 runs from 31 overs in a rain reduced match. Neville Hamilton top scored with a well-played 51 runs, which came from 55 balls and included eight 4’s. Matthew Jordan also played a classy game as he chipped in with 29 runs from 24 balls. His stint included two 4’s and one 6. A useful contribution also came from Mockette who scored 26 runs from 25 balls.

Delon Skellekee was not ashamed to confound the lawmen with his tricky spin. The spin sensation had figures of three wickets for 26 runs from seven overs, which included one maiden. He was well supported by Leeward Islands all rounder who took two wickets for 28 runs from seven overs and one maiden. Delano Mussington also took one wicket but he was expensive with some 52 runs coming from his six overs.

The frugal bowling that characterizes the lawmen was put on the witness stand the CuisinArt attack. Leon Lake, 45 and Chaka Hodge 36 top scored for CuisinArt. The former’s score came from 41 balls and was garnished by eight 4’s. The latter scored his runs from 31 balls and included three fours and one 6. Delon Skellekee also chipped in with 22 runs from 21 balls and he slugged three 4s. Despite the efforts of the aforementioned batsmen CuisinArt was bowled out for 145 from 24.1 overs

Hull was the most successful lawman as he took three wickets for 23 runs from 7 overs. Off spinner Hamilton and Nevrson also took two wickets a piece to help guide the lawmen to victory.
