Anguilla lost their second in as many games at the triangular tournament currently underway in Puerto Rico at the Estadio Juan Ramón Loubriel in Bayamón, taking on Bermuda on Friday in a tightly contested affair.

Bermuda had the better of Anguilla in the first half with Akilah Berkeley-Bremar striking in the 10th and 30th minutes giving the Bermudans a 2-0 lead at the half.

The Anguillians emerged as a reinvigorated team in the second half and according to observers, had Bermuda under much pressure and missed several close chances. However it wasn't until the 80th minute that Sharice Richardson was able to put the Anguillians on the scoreboard for the first time, with a 25 yd free kick past the goalie.

The Bermudans managed to hold on, winning their first game of the tournament 2:1. They meet Puerto Rico in the final of the Group C games on Sunday.

The Group C winner will join the first-place finishers of the other Groups (A & B) as the three Caribbean qualifiers to the 2008 CONCACAF Women’s U-17 Championship.
