The Roaring Lions F.C prowled the Webster’s Park football field and suffocated their opposition by jumping straight on the jugular blood vessels. The Lions were relentless in their pursuit of victory. Doc’s United tried every conceivable method to deny the Lions victory. However precision passes and brilliant off ball movement exposed the flaws of Doc’s United.
Fancy Lions forward Jaden Abbot (#5) opened the scoring early in the first half with a shot from within the 6yard box. Returning midfield guru Gordon Benjamin (# 20) scored two goals as well. Chad “The enforcer” Meldrum (#17) made his presence felt by blasting in two goals. As the Lions continued to apply the pressure in the first half Kappel Assent (#23) scored a goal. Though the game seem evenly played in the second half Doc’s United were unable to make an entry into their goal account. The match ended with a 6:0 victory for the roaring Lions.
