The pressure soon paid off with a goal by Jermain Bassue (#13) to reduce the goal deficit. During half time Kicks United reviewed their strategy and corrected their flaws. They acknowledged they needed to be more passing and running off the ball.
Kenny “K-pump” Williams (#11) took it to heart as he lead by example. His first goal came from a curling right-footed blast, 20 yards outside of the 18yard box. Within a few minutes he scored again but this time from a shot within the 18yard box. With the scores now level, Kicks United played with flair and poise as they increased the pressure on their opponents.
Kenny “K-pump” Williams (#11) scored his third goal of the match to put his team up 4:3 as he dribbled passed an outstretched Doc’s keeper. The game ended with a victory for Kicks United.
