Anguilla lost a lopsided affair at the Leeward Islands U-15 cricket tournament being played in Antigua. The youngsters came up against Nevis at the Police Recreation Ground (PRG) in St. John's on Saturday December 15. Nevis who batted first, scored a solid 230 for 9 from their 50 overs. In reply Anguilla were bowled out for 62 in 25 overs with young Nevisian, Wasim Mintos taking five wickets for a miserly nine runs.
Anguilla played Montserrat at the Antigua Sugar Factory (ASF) on Sunday. Unfortunately for the young cricketers, they once again were left wanting with their batting. After restricting Montserrat to 148 in 35 overs the Anguillians were bowled out in 22 overs for only 72, losing by 76.
