image Anguilla opened its Caribbean Commercial Bank (CCB) sponsored domestic season with a friendly 20/20 encounter against St. Maarten at the Ronald Webster's on Sunday March, 11, 2007.

The visitors batted first and scored a blistering 169 for six at a rate of 8.45 runs per over. Top scorer of the innings, Sherwin Peters, hit 57 runs at a strike rate of 114 employing some 5 fours and 1 six.

Anguilla started firmly in reply with a prolific 121 run (11.3 ov) partnership for the first wicket between Chaka Hodge (74) and Chesney Hughes.  The two inflicted severe punishment on the pace attack of their opponents but were also aided with some wayward bowling.

The chase came to a successful end when Anguilla's Omari Banks scored the final 24 runs off only 5 balls, which included a plethora of boundaries.

For their winning performances the home side won EC$5,000.
